Plain housewife(with cheese), married to a not so plain husband for 7 yrs (na naging boyfriend ng almost 10 yrs). Full time mother to 2 super kulit boys (may part time ba?) Full-time sister to a brother who's over 30 (at mas makulit pa sa mga anak ko). I have an older sister na ang ilusyon nya ay sya si Joyce Jimenez na sa tabi ni Mickey Mouse nakatira at isa pang sister na pangarap bumili ng bahay sa tabi ng Divisoria Mall or at least makapag-overnight stay sa Wellmanson Quiapo branch. Enjoys bonding with friends (na konti lang naman), mahilig sa mga "tayo-tayo parties"; (buti na lang naiimbita ako), magaling mag bait-baitan pag may mga new found friends kaya walang masyadong friends. Kasalukayang nawiwili sa photography, enjoys going to divisoria and quiapo at.... OO, FAN ako ni SHARON CUNETA!

Happy Birthday Maki-Boy!

Five years old na si Maki nung August 14. So nag party kami sa school.
Happy birthday Maki, I love you!

According to Maki, "Isabel is nice Mom because she copies our lessons in the blackboard for me when i'm tired na of writing."

I'm back!!! As usual busy

I'm back!!!

Pancho says...

(minsan isang gabi, natahimik sya sabay tanong nya sa akin...)
Mom, when i'm thinking about you in my brain can you feel it?

(minsan naman pag nasa drama mode sya)
Buti na lang I have a mom like you....because you're better than all the moms in the world and i like you better than any mom because you're prettier than all of the moms.

Maki says...

(habang kamot ng kamot at nangungunsumi)
Mom the ants keep on biting me, they think I'm their food...because they like to eat me and myself...

MOM! The other one has a new weapon...that's on uhmm Power Rangers..uhmmm Wildforce..uhmmm ...the national premiere...uhmmm...i dunno yet eh..what should i do?

(nung isang gabi nag brownout ng pagkatagal tagal, habang nag rereklamo ako sa brownout kalmado syang nagsasalita..)
I prayed to God already so that there will be electricity, but it's still brownout maybe God is still talking to somebody else.

Basic Photography 101

My brother have been asking me to take up photography lessons with him since he got his new digital SLR camera. So being the "mother hen" that I am, we attended the workshop on basic photography last weekend.I have always been engrossed on taking pictures especially when I had my kids but not to the extent of taking up lessons. It was a big leap for me because the main requirement for the workshop was a 35mm SLR camera or its equivalent. Good for Mox because he just got his digital SLR. But for me it was like going back in time because I have to use a 35mm with manual controls and I've been using a digital camera for more than 2 yrs already (courtesy of ate sienna). But thanks to Renz, Nonong and Melo, our facilitators for the workshop, they opened up a whole new perspective on taking pictures for me.
By the way, at the end of the session we had our mini photo contest wherein we had to submit 2 of our photos. Mox won the first and second place.

Here are the pictures from my first attempt in serious photography.
